Company Profile

Troqueladora Batesville de Mexico was founded in 2000 by our parent company, Batesville Tool & Die. The Mexico facility was strategically located to be easily accessible to the major users of metal stampings and also to support Batesville’s customer base. Troqueladora specializes in blank, formed, and drawn stampings. In addition, we provide die maintenance and value added operations.

Troqueladora Batesville de Mexico started manufacturing metal parts in September 2000 in a 4,790sq.m (51,559 sq.ft) facility. In 2006 we will complete our first expansion adding 4181sq.m (45,000 sq.ft) to our current capacity.

We have seven mechanical stamping presses that range in capacity from 80 ton to 600 ton. Our press capability includes hand transfer, mechanical transfer, and progressive die operations. In support of our stamping capability, we also perform resistant weld, mig weld, and subassembly operations to provide our customers with completed assemblies as needed. Post finish operations will also be provided as required utilizing the best suppliers and state of the art processes to ensure the highest quality, best productivity, and lowest cost for finishing parts.

Quality won’t be implemented as a means of measurement but rather an attitude. We have implemented the necessary design reviews, document preplanning activities to incorporate FMEA’s, process flows, and quality plans. After tooling is complete, we perform extensive reviews of the tooling including both short term and long-term capability studies. We provide formal sample submission certifying both the parts and the material. In December of 2005, Troqueladora received ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification.
